Villa Coco

Dive into the Colors of the Sea

The Coiba Islands are only 37 kilometers (23 miles) from our shores, making Santa Catalina the gateway to the National Park.

It is commonly called the “New Galapagos” and is ranked third among the Best Places in America for Diving. Amongst many fishes, you can see White Tip Reef Sharks, Whale Sharks, Humpback Whales, Giant Mantas, Frogfish, Seahorses, Turtles, and much more. Whale sharks are commonly seen from December through March. Humpback whales are seen on the migratory route from August to November.
