Yes – it’s far, but once you get to Santa Catalina, you will understand the magic, and it will be worth it.

Car

From Panama City

Carretera Panamericana in the direction of Santiago de Veraguas and then Sona. From there, follow Carretera 34 until you reach Santa Catalina.

From Bocas del Toro/Boquete and David

Take directions to the Carretera Panamericana, leave it at Carretera 28, and follow it to Sona via Carretera 5. Finally, follow Carretera 34 until you reach Santa Catalina.
